White Gate publishes stimulating children's' books which have the special ability to speak their content to the reader. This is why they are called 'Speak it' books from combining the words "Speak" and "Kit". These speaking books are particularly suited to helping children to learn because the hearing the content, and interacting with the exercises posed by the books, stimulate more brain function than do standard books or other types of audio books, such as those on CDs. Adults too find the books very helpful in areas such as language-learning, for menus and maps, medical learning, and much more. When the page is touched by the audio pen the details at that point are read by the pen which then uses this information to choose the correct audio to output through the built-in speakers.
