Cork harvested every 9 years from the oak trees by shedding the bark and thus tree lives on for generations. The tree then regenerated the cork and uses more CO2 from the atmosphere, thus helping global warming. Non slip - The yoga mats have a 5mm thick padding of natural rubber which along with giving good cushion to the knees if hold firmly to the ground making it anti slip. Cork also helps to give a good grip to the sweaty hands while working out. Sweat absorbent - Cork has many unique properties and being sweat absorbent is one of them. Being Moisture Resistance also makes sure you dont slip on the mat while working out, Pilates or Yoga. Antimicrobial - Cork has a tendency to naturally eliminate bacteria and germs and also repels the growing of moulds thanks to its water-resistant attribute. Easy to clean - The mat is very robust and easy to clean. Just pour some dilute laundry liquid and brush the stain away. Wipe with a towel and let it dry. The mat dries super quick and very easy to maintain.
