Ouate Paris was founded by Astrid Maudui, a mother of four who was interested in what she could put on her children's skin with a clear conscience. She wanted to create products that were not only clean and meant for their skin, but also fun.
Many dermatologists and pharmacists taught me that between the ages of 4 and 11, the skin is especially vulnerable because it is still developing. Faced with my children's refusal to continue using baby products that no longer suited them, I was reluctant to use products designed for teenagers or worse, adult products that might be too concentrated.
The products had to contain natural formulas , without unpleasant substances. They had to be tested under pediatric and dermatological control because I needed certainty. These products also had to please my children, who always expect fun, and had to have adapted ergonomics for the different stages of their development. Finally, they had to be approved by medical professionals.
