Frequently asked questions
Q: Can I expand the mat by buying a second set?
A: Yes, the interlocking jigsaw edges are universal across this set, allowing you to connect multiple sets together to cover larger playrooms or entire nursery floors.
Q: Does the foam have a strong chemical smell when first opened?
A: Our mats are made from high-quality, non-toxic EVA foam. While there may be a faint "new product" scent initially, it is completely safe and disappears quickly after being aired out for a short period.
Q: Is this mat suitable for outdoor use on a patio?
A: While primarily designed for indoor use, the mat is durable and water-resistant enough for supervised outdoor play on flat surfaces. We recommend bringing it indoors after use to preserve the foam's integrity.
Q: How do the edge pieces work?
A: The set includes 12 straight edge pieces that snap onto the outer jigsaw teeth, creating a clean, framed look that prevents the edges from being a tripping hazard.
Q: What is the best way to clean the mat after a spill?
A: Simply use a damp cloth with mild soap and water. The surface is non-porous and water-resistant, so liquids stay on top for easy, hygienic cleanup.
