This book studies a number of literary, poetic, fictional, theatrical and fictional literary texts in the UAE, characterized by modernist dimensions and in which techniques or terminology belonging to the new critical schools appeared. These writings employed methods of intertextuality, stream of consciousness, monologue, mask, apostasy, displacement, and poetry. And others, and new intellectual visions were presented to keep pace with its times, rebelling against its traditional reality, and inciting change and development, opening horizons of the future, and elevating the nation towards a better civilized position, and a deeper intellectual and spiritual role.
