The hold was intended to be very soft because babies shouldn’t be sticky or stiff. Before the product was released, we were legally advised that marketing it as anything to prevent or treat a condition (like cradle cap) would change the classification from a cosmetic to a drug. So we left that info off the label and marketed the product as the first and only professional product made for infant hair. When combined with our Spotless Babywash, they are excellent baby shower gifts (a source of revenue many salons aren’t accustomed to capturing). For those weary of using a hair product on their infant, we advise them to rub it in like lotion, as it will absorb in a similar fashion.
