In this book, the author discusses the topic of civilization and the practice of civilizational action in society. In the first part, he explores the concept of civilizational action as well as the concepts of knowledge and technology. In the second part, he examines some of the laws governing civilizations and delves into the most significant civilizational experiences humanity has witnessed over the past twenty-five centuries: the Greek experience, the Arab-Islamic experience, the Western European experience, and the Japanese experience.
In the third part, he discusses the mechanisms and methodologies that should be followed to revive civilizational action in a society, highlighting three key pillars that he considers essential for any serious attempt to revive civilizational action. In the fourth part, the author addresses the topic of education and training, which he considers the cornerstones of the process of reviving civilizational action. He presents his visions and ideas on what the philosophy and methodologies of education should be.
In the fifth part, continuing in the same context, he discusses the subjects of universities and scientific research and the roles they play in the process of reviving civilizational action. In the sixth part, he examines some of the keys to the process of reviving civilizational action, specifically reason and freedom. In the seventh and final part, he explores some of the obstacles hindering the process of reviving civilizational action, as well as the role of elites in this context.
