NAN Comfort 2 is a follow-up formula designed for infants aged 6 months to 1 year. It is intended to be used as the liquid part of the diet during and after weaning, alongside other foods. This formula helps manage minor digestive issues such as infantile colic, gas, flatulence, abdominal cramps, and constipation. Fortified with iron, it provides essential nutrients for growing babies. Like its predecessor, NAN Comfort 2 contains L. reuteri, a probiotic culture that supports healthy digestion, reduces excessive crying in colicky babies, and helps foster the development of a healthy gut. It is not suitable as a breast milk substitute during the first 6 months of life. The formula is made with skimmed cow's milk, palm olein, whey powder, lactose, sucrose, low-erucic acid rapeseed oil, coconut oil, and sunflower oil. Additionally, it contains emulsifier (soy lecithin), a Lactobacillus culture (DSM 17938 under license from BioGaia AB), and a variety of minerals and vitamins to support healthy growth and development.
