Hafsa Lodi is a Dubai-based writer with a passion for sewing and embroidery.
With her heart feeling heavy and hands feeling idle, she is hand-embellishing Palestinian keffiyeh scarves with patches and pearls, attempting to sprinkle a little bit of colour and hope into the resistance. Each keffiyeh is one-of-a-kind, with a selection of handsewn patches, pearls, appliques and beads. It is delicate, lightly woven and may have slight imperfections.
