Intestinal dry food contains fish protein hydrolysate as the only animal protein source. Next to the positive effect on digestion, the hydrolysed proteins also have a very low allergenicity. The added fatty acids are able to downregulate inflammatory reactions, which is desirable in cats with an intestinal inflammation or atopy.
