We plan on gate checking this on our flight, but I think it would definitely fit in the overhead bin of an international flight. It has a pretty decent size basket underneath. This is important for us because we still carry a pretty hefty diaper bag around with us. It also looks and feels a lot sturdier than other travel/umbrella strollers out there. We love that it reclines and our little one can sleep in the reclined position. The canopy is large and looks like it will definitely block out the sun and give some privacy if baby is napping. It's easy to open and close - pretty similar to most strollers I think. Bonus too that it comes with a bag!
