Honestly, I used it until my son was 8 months old. The advantages are that it's very lightweight and folds quickly, but opening it requires some effort to secure it. The disadvantages are that the foam on the mattress is thin, and you can't sit the child upright; they have to be lying flat, not sitting up. And frankly, the design isn't very stylish; it's just plain, and the fabric is thin. The canopy opens at the back and isn't stable. If the child moves around after 9 months, I don't think it will hold up because it's so light. It looks just like the picture.

The Arabic style is nice, but the basket's fabric is like a bag, and the piece at the feet doesn't lift up much.
