Parsley Oil is known to contain antimicrobial and antiseptic properties. Parsley essential oil, steam distilled from the seeds, roots and leaves of the parsley herb (Petroselinum crispum), contains many healthy plant compounds and has a spicy, woody and herbal fragrance. Parsley oil contains vitamins A and C, and the active compounds apigenin and apiole, which give it powerful anti-oxidant, anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties. This makes parsley essential oil useful to reduce infections and inflammation and fight free-radical damage.
