Folicum 1 MG 20 Tab is a dietary supplement that contains folic acid, an essential vitamin for the body's health. It helps support the production of red blood cells and promotes nervous system health.

Folic acid is crucial for pregnant women, as it helps reduce the risk of congenital disabilities in fetuses. It is also beneficial for individuals who suffer from vitamin deficiencies or those following an unbalanced diet.

How to use: Once daily with a meal.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to Folic Acid.

Precautions: Folic Acid alone is an improper therapy in the treatment of pernicious Anaemia and other megaloblastic Anaemias where Vitamin B12 is deficient.

Caution should be exercised when administering Folic Acid to patients who may have folate dependent tumours.

Plasma concentration of antiepileptic drugs like phenobarbital, phenytoin and primidone are possibly reduced in presence of Folic Acid.

Keep the package tightly closed in a cool dry place below 25 degreeC protected from light.

Do not use the drug after the expiry date printed on the package.

Each tablet contains Folic Acid 1mg.

Other ingredient: Maize starch (dried) , Microcrystalline cellulose , Colloidal silicon dioxide , Spray-dried Lactose , Talc (fine powder) , Stearic acid.
