Allah says: “(This is) a book (the Qur’an) which we have sent down to you, full of blessings that they may ponder over its verses, and that men of understanding may remember.” (Surah Sad, 38:29)

In line with the command to ponder on the Glorious Qur’an and to emulate the approach of the Companions, there is a need to compose a brief and comprehensive methodical text that introduces the chapters of the Glorious Qur’an.

Dr. Yasir named it AL-BITAQAT: The Qur’anic Introductory Card (QIC).

The QIC is an introductory program that prepares a memorizer, reciter, and student of the Glorious Qur’an methodically. It encourages the combination of memorization with meditation-unlike the traditional rote memorization as the focus of Qur’an memorization programs in most Islamic countries.
