I used it, God willing, from one month old to about two years old. The mesh is comfortable for the baby before they sit up, and it has a drainage hole that opens and closes.

I think it's the most comfortable pool for newborns and infants. I used it with my first son until he was one year old, and now I've returned the newborn piece and am using it for my daughter. It's really comfortable and safe.
