Do thoughts not evoke the very same feelings?! One may warm your heart in moments of joy and enthusiasm, becoming the key to shyness and ecstasy, while another descends upon parting or abandonment, departing and leaving in its wake the bitterness of regret and the shattering of dreams.

Such are thoughts, my friends. Ever since I began writing, I have been careful not to stifle the words with the ropes of lengthy narratives; thus, prose thought has been my chosen means of expressing what goes on in my mind or of discussing an issue that stirs my indignation and curiosity, and the common thread running through them all is the revelation of the intended meaning once they are finished. At the beginning of the work, there are some reflections that speak of abandonment and the fading of hope, while others touch upon longing and a sense of self-respect imbued with pride and dignity.

Then the narrative took its course, culminating in my mother, who became the work's conclusion and its culmination; I therefore sincerely hope that my writings will meet with your approval after you have finished wandering through the recesses of my thoughts.
